Foreword: A 10th anniversary Navel game, drawn by Hiro Suzumiya and Aoi Nishimata. Both artists drew Shuffle and many other games until now, so I had gotten my hopes up for this game. Turns out, this game was also split greatly in the extremes; some of the routes were really good, the others simply sucked.

Summary: Yuusei is a protected child of a concubine, and had a troubled childhood where he was always compared with his superior older, half-brother. Living a life of dullness and repetitiveness, Yuusei wanted something different. This was when he realized that a person he met before, a man named John Pier Stanley, had opened up a fashion school in his town. John had been a person that saved him in the past, in his dull and miserable childhood, and became a role model for Yuusei.
However, one thing held him back; the school was designed only for girls, because there was a lack of female designers. As he was glooming around, his sister, Risona, suggested that he crossdress in order to attend the school. Yuusei immediately accepts this idea, and becomes hired under a person named Luna Sakurakouji, a friend of Risona in order to attend the school. However, the happiness doesn’t last for long. Yuusei will soon realize that his older half-brother, who despises him greatly, is now the headmaster of the school that he will be attending!!
Yes, this is a guy.
Story Length: Moderate (25 hours)
Complete Story Clearing Difficulty: Moderately low.
Comments: Easy to clear story. I really appreciate Navel’s Scene Skip function, because it’s a LOT faster than normally skipping through the story.
Every guy’s dream; a triple date.
Character Design Rating: 7/10
Story Rating: 8/10
Game Quality: Moderate
Overall Rating: 8/10
Rating Comments: First of all, I’ll just say this straight out. Other than Luna’s route, and maybe Urusule’s route, the other character routes were really weak in terms of plotline. Luna’s route consisted of a relationship that started from a simple “spur of the moment”, but gradually builds up with humor and affection. Then a crisis hits the characters, which results in a final turnaround climax and a wonderful ending. It is obvious that there were different scenario writers, even if you didn’t know there were more than one writer.
Other than that, you will notice that the characters are extremely lovable. Each of them have a trait that is attractive; even for Yuusei, the main protagonist! Luna is a tsundere who plays the role of a “boke” often, Urusule gets her Japanese wrong, in many situations, Mizuho continuously raises the “yuri-flag”, and Minato is simply a dere-dere character. I guarantee that you will be laughing throughout the beginning parts of this story.
Sexual Content: Moderate.
Comments: I forgot to mention this, but the beginning is actually pretty dark. It almost gave me a heart attack myself. But you have to remember that this is a comedy game, and all that is simply Yuusei’s memory, just exaggerated a bit.
Minato voiced by Yoshida Mayumi :D
Affection for the Characters: High
CG Quality: Moderate
Music Quality: High. Navel always makes good music. “nuff said.
Addictiveness: Low
Conclusion: A decent game, with large quality differences between routes. In a sense, this is like the Yosuga no Sora game, where all the players was gaga’ing over Sora (in this case, Luna).
Luna is mine~ Rawr~

Am actually playing this game with the append patch right now, up until now Asahi/ Yuusei has had his lines voiced, but all of a sudden it stopped is it a bug? (i’m near the end of Luna’s route with patch 1.2)
That’s probably a faulty patch or a corrupted file. I remember playing it again with the voices, so there’s that.
Do you mean the H-scenes? I’m not sure if Yuusei is voiced in the H-scenes
